Li Gang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Marxism, Zhao Haixia, Assistant to the Dean, Ms Zhang Kefei, Head of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Centre of Weiyang District Culture, Tourism and Sports Bureau, Mr He Zhaozhao, Head of the Scenic Spot of Shaanxi Province, and Mr Zeng Yuan, Director of the Creative Studio of Beijing Star Tribe, were present at the event.

Zhao Haixia explained the significance of the "two combinations" of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the Symposium on Cultural Inheritance and Development, combined with various types of social practice activities, and emphasised that a correct understanding of the Chinese excellent traditional culture is an important prerequisite for the creative transformation and innovative development of the Chinese excellent traditional culture, and that in the great process of constructing a cultural power, it is necessary to carry forward the good inheritance and innovation of Chinese excellent traditional culture.
Liu Xiaofan, the person in charge of Weiyang "Wan Wan Qiang" Shadow Opera Heritage Base, introduced the main construction direction and content of the base in detail. She said, the "Wan Wan Qiang" shadow play originated from the Western Han Dynasty, as the main palace drama, its singing voice is elegant, elegant lyrics, the harmony of sound and rhyme, the sentence length varies, the singing of a combination of true and false voices, the performance of flexible and changeable, vivid characters, performance system is very complete and rich, is a typical representative of the excellent traditional Chinese culture. In recent years, the shadow theatre heritage base is also committed to promoting the activities of non-heritage culture into schools, has collected, collated and created more than a hundred scripts.
The School of Marxism and Weiyang “Wan Wan Qiang" Shadow Theatre Inheritance Base reached a consensus on the cooperation of social practice bases for college students, and hoped that the co-establishment of social practice bases would be an important starting point, and that they would actively explore and open up new areas and ways of co-operation, create more practical topics that are effective in shaping people with morality and virtue, and actively create a practical platform for ideological and political theory courses, and help cultivate talents of the university.
