On September 26, He Miao, Assistant Dean of School of Marxism of NPU; Lu Jie, Director of the Department of Ideological and Political Education; Hua Yanjun, Deputy Director of the Department of Research on the Sinicization of Marxism; and Wu Wanzhen and Yang Xiaoxun, 5 teachers in total, participated in the second seminar on the reform and innovation of ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities in the new era and the first multi-university collective lesson-preparation meeting for the course of “Introduction to Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era”. Professor He Miao and Lu Jie made the keynote speech respectively on the theme of “A good mechanism for the coordinated operation of school education, family education and social education as well as morality building and talent cultivation” and “‘Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era’ as well as Reflections on ‘Three Transformation’”.More than 100 experts and scholars from over 50 universities including Peking University, Renmin University of China and Shanghai Jiaotong University as well as several media such asRed Flag ManuscriptandGuangming Dailyattended this meeting.
A new meeting mode combining online and offline has been adopted in this meeting, which has greatly enhanced the influence of the meeting, with the number of online viewers reaching 25200.
The participating teachers shared their experience in the reform and innovation of ideological and political theory course in colleges and universities in the new era, and explored the preparation ideas forIntroduction to Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era.The meeting has strengthened the mutual exchanges between colleges and universities, and showed the teaching level of ideological and political theory course in each university.
