In order to further implement the national requirements on strengthening the construction of ideological and political theory courses, understanding China's current national defence enterprises and institutions on the demand for comprehensive quality of talents, and improving the quality of talent cultivation, with the support of the Student Work Department of the Party Committee of the University, the School of Marxism teachers, including Ning Dianxia, Zhang Qingjiang and a group of 47 teachers and students, went to Xi'an Tianhe Defence Technology Co to take a study and research activities.

It is reported that Tianhe Defence is an innovative private high-tech military listed enterprise with the strategic support of civil-military integration. The company was founded in 2001, is China's earliest batch of private enterprises to enter the field of military aircraft system research and production, but also the earliest batch of private military enterprises to achieve batch export of military aircraft system equipment. The company has formed a leading edge in radar detection, optoelectronic detection, hydroacoustic detection, metamaterials, big data and other technological fields, with a number of core technologies and patented technologies, has undertaken three national 863 programme, a national science and technology support plan major projects, a number of "13th Five-Year" military pre-research projects, is a national high-tech enterprises, It is a national high-tech enterprise, a national demonstration enterprise of civil-military integration, a key enterprise of Shaanxi Province's "Double Hundred Project" of civil-military integration, and a demonstration enterprise of Shaanxi Province's civil-military integration.

Under the leadership of Liu Peng, Director of Industry Research Department of Tianhe Defence and alumnus of our school majoring in polymer materials and engineering, and Shi Yan, Director of Big Data Operation, teachers and students visited the company's corporate culture showroom and core technology product showroom. In the corporate culture showroom, Liu Peng introduced in detail the corporate strategy, corporate structure, innovation achievements, corporate culture, industrial layout and the progress of the construction of key projects such as Tianhe Defense (Headquarters) 5G Communication Industrial Park and Tianrong Big Data (Xi'an) Arithmetic Centre. In the exhibition hall of core technology products, students got to know the key technological innovation and product research of the enterprise in the field of dual-use in the military and civil, and felt the development of technologies and products such as low-altitude air defence, big data, communication electronic components, border and sea defence business, artificial intelligence, Tianhe Cloud Pulse, new materials, ocean detection, unmanned and information-based combat systems of Tianhe Defence.

      Through this activity, teachers and students learned about the positive contribution made by Tianhe Defence to scientific and technological self-reliance and self-improvement, local economic development and national defence. After the practice, students have expressed that they should seriously study ideological and political theory courses and professional knowledge, adhere to the righteousness and innovation, be a good young man in the new era, and strive to contribute to the school's "127" goals, and create a wonderful life in the course of comprehensively advancing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese-style modernisation.
